1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Websites can also use local storage and session storage to keep information on a device. These technologies support sign-in, security, preferences and application functionality.
2. Essential Storage
Sales Storm uses essential browser storage needed to provide requested features. This may include information used to:
- maintain authentication and account state;
- remember the current user profile, role or selected workspace information;
- support security, load balancing, request integrity or error recovery; and
- retain temporary interface state needed for an active workflow.
Essential storage is used because the service cannot function as requested without it. Disabling it may prevent sign-in, cause settings to be forgotten or break application features.
3. Authentication and Session Storage
The application may store an authentication token and limited account display information in browser storage so signed-in pages can identify the current session. Session storage may also be used for temporary information that expires when a browser tab or session ends. You should sign out and clear site data on a shared device.
4. Local Storage and Preferences
Local storage may retain information between visits, such as account display details, interface choices or feature state. Unlike a traditional cookie, local storage is not automatically sent with every web request. It remains available to scripts from the same site until removed by the service, the user or the browser.
5. Analytics
Our public marketing pages use a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics service (Plausible) to measure aggregate traffic — pages viewed, referring sites and general visit volume. It does not set cookies, does not use browser local storage, does not build a profile of you across visits or sites, and does not collect personal information. Because it is cookieless and non-tracking, no consent banner is required under current guidance.

6. Connected and Third-Party Services
When you follow a link to, connect with or use an embedded feature from another service, that service may set its own cookies or browser storage under its policy. This may include social platforms such as Meta or Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Google. Sales Storm does not control storage set directly by those services on their domains.
7. Your Controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block and delete cookies or site data. Controls are generally available in privacy or site-settings menus. You may also clear local and session storage through those settings. Blocking all storage may sign you out and prevent core Sales Storm features from working. Browser controls do not necessarily remove information already stored on Sales Storm servers or on connected third-party services.
8. No Unnecessary Consent Banner
We do not display a consent banner merely for appearance. Our current analytics is cookieless and does not require consent. If Sales Storm begins using cookie-based or tracking analytics that require consent, an appropriate choice mechanism will be added before those technologies are used.
